Letter to your Congressmen on seizing the shipment of VX Nerve Gas to Port Arthur, TX.

The U.S. Army has shipped nearly 375,000 gallons of VX Nerve gas via rail to Port Arthur, TX without public notice. The intent is to ship 1,200 tons of the byproduct for incineration in a plant in West Port Arthur. Public distraught prevented the shipment to Ohio and the Delaware River, why should Texas be a dumping ground? Help CLEAN and other environmental organizations stop the shipment permanently.

The nerve gas is being neutralized on location in Indiana and the Army wants to have the toxic waste water byproduct, hydrolysate, incinerated at the Veolia treatment plant in West Port Arthur where nearly 375,000 gallons has already been transported. As a representative of the people of this state, it is imperative your attention be directed to this issue.
