Dr. Michael Sommer is an environmental chemist and expert involving investigation and forensic analysis of chemicals. Dr. Sommer's area of specialization includes experience as a technical claims analyst and environmental expert for the marine insurance industry, petroleum and petrochemical, food and related industries involving investigation and forensic analysis of bulk liquids and chemicals, edible oils and related products such as fatty acids, fatty alcohols and acid oils regarding product quality complaints. He has also had extensive experience as an expert witness in scientific litigation. Dr. Sommer is currently President and Director of GeoDynamics Inc., providing technical support using GC/MS for the analysis of organics in soil, water, air and product purity.

Dr. Sommer received his Doctorate in geochemistry and Master's in geology from the University of Tulsa.
